Our facility is equipped to process hundreds of EVs, with separate intake bays that allow us to repurpose each manufacturer’s battery technology confidentially.

Performance Testing & Rating

Each battery is tested and rated against our performance criteria to ensure it has the storage capacity to be repurposed. Batteries that underperform are delivered to our recycling partners.

Storage & Delivery

The EV batteries are stored in custom-designed steel containers and then delivered to regional power generators so that they can create a 24-hour clean energy cycle.

Why Repurpose EV Batteries?

When an EV battery no longer has the high performance capacity to meet the rigorous demands of driving, it often still has enough capacity to be useful in other applications—like clean energy storage. That’s where Alternative Lifecycles comes in. With our clean energy storage model, a repurposed EV battery can go on to perform for many years before it has to be recycled.
